Best of luck to King Arthur, Bob Arum didn't want his fighter to get beat badly a second time anyways.

I blame Top Rank, although I didn't see Pavlik say to Bob, "Make the fight happen"..

Pavlik is ducking him or something so a move upis a good move.

Bat, i just saw the fight (he just finished his interview on showtime)

he DID NOT say he's definitely moving up to SMW

he said "middleweight, supermiddleweight - i'll be where ever the big fights are"

he expressed his desire to fight pavlik and to chase his dreams of having huge fights in the united states

AA has not been fighting the best comp.

              They match him pretty soft.

I thought you hated stuff like that??

he has been fighting to make the middleweight limit for years now. Hopefully he is in amongst the top contenders very soon at Super Middleweight.

I would fancy the likes of Kessler to beat him though.
                AA is a small middle.

                I don't buy that he's having trouble making 160.

I bet Showtime is happy to hear that since they're so invested in showcasing 168. Abraham vs Froch, or better yet, Abraham vs Kessler make it happen.

                      AA making his weight

I saw the show in TV here in Germany. There were some spotlights on the development of the fighters before the bout.

AA lost some 14lbs before the fight with Oral, within 25 days. For the fight vs. Simon he had to lose even more weight, and did so in about two weeks. This weight loss was so bad for his health, that he was out of gas in the fight, and just won by points.

He is having difficulties making weight. When not fighting, he is at 176+lbs, and going down to 160 means losing 16+lbs. Not healthy. Going to 168 is an improvement for his health (if Kessler is an improvement to AA health - we'll see).

The reporter tried to nail AA to the point of "going up" or not. AA agreed he'll go up, since the fights with Sturm or Pavlik were still not fixed.
