That fight already happened and I don't think there's any interest for a rematch on both sides. Sturm outclassed Sylvester and is a major missmatch for him. Sturm is gonna fight Khoren Gevor (who already lost in 7 to Abraham btw) and will probably hang on to his WBA title for 2-3 more years before he retires - which is a shame really because five years ago he looked like he had the talent and the courage to tear up the MW division.

Abraham on the other hand wants the big fights now. That's one of the main reasons why he's moving up - and for a change I really do believe he's looking to land a big fight.

King Arthur is the man... I give Oral alot of credit for fighting a tough, determined fight. Still, that crazy defense, granite chin, and all of the sudden handspeed that Abraham has is something special. Personally, I'd love to see him stay at middleweight where I think he would KO Kelly Pavlik, Paul Williams, and Felix Sturm. If he does move to Super Middleweight though, it would instantly become my favorite division. Can you imagine Abraham vs. Kessler? Damn...

Mahir Oral is a descendant of a Turkish family.

It looked like an easy victory for AA. He was not threatened at all. The rounds 1-3 and 7 went to Oral, point-wise (more activity, going forward...). Other than that, AA dominated Oral. In round 9, Oral was saved by the bell after taking a serious beating. AA floored him five times - in round 10 he went to his knees twice. Oral was obvious in pain from the bodyshots he received.

AA has a sledgehammer in his fist, and was completely unfazed by anything Oral had in his gloves. But AA was sluggish in his defense, and a quicker boxer than Oral could have taken advantage of that.

On the other hand, I think AA was careless because he knew Oral - the were sparring partners a few years back. If he had a real opponent in the ring, I think AA would fare better - in the offensive and in the defensive.

But AA announced he will go up to the next division now. He declared it in the ring live on German TV.

Yeah. It was already posted on saturday.

AA needs to be tested which he hasn't been in the last couple years. He will meet plenty of challenges at supermiddleweight which is boxings best division now.

German TV seemed to warm up to a AA-Kessler clash, which should give AA some problems given Kessler's speed, punch and workrate.

what makes you think kessler will crawl out of his secluded bunker deep within the earth's crust?

Nothing. He's having a merciless tug-of-war with his promotor and probably won't be fighting any time soon.

But the german announcers seemed to single him out likely because he has destroyed 2 of their fighters on that very network.
