The funny thing about it is that Ray Mercer is now ranked at number 17 in the mma heavywieght rankings after one win!

Goes to show how poor the mma competition is! Mercer is ranked 102 in boxing!

Now it just shows how dumb Tim Sylvia is and how much he sucks.

He decided to trade with Mercer and he got what he deserved.

Good win for Mercer, but that doesn't mean that the competition in MMA is poor.

IF the UFShe ppv beats the out it'll be barely, Mayweather will easily get 500k, easily.
        Cain/Shane
        Kos/Trigg
        Hermes/Tyson

That's at least 600K-700K right there. Most of it from Velasquez and Carwin.

If the rumors are true and there is Liddell/Franklin, that's at least 800-950k.

Damian Maia would sweeten the deal.

I don't see Mercer in the rankings.

          Where did you see this?

I want to know this too. As far as I know Rankings are only listed 1-10. Unless it was somewhere in Sherdog. They're ranking have been ******ed lately

600-700k? What previous numbers have those characters done?

According to Dave Meltzer, the numbers are around 350K for UFC 96. This is rather surprising: trending estimates for UFC 98 indicate that the show will do somewhere around 635,000 pay per view buys.

I couldn't find the other ones, but this is the type of trend for these cards so don't try to bull**** you way through by going to the extreme end. 600-700k for that card is not a plausible prediction, but since you mmgay nuthuggers think I'm not gonna do some research you throw out those types of numbers.

96 ****** because Jardine/Rampage was a throw away fight. Everybody knew Jardine wasn't going to fight Rashad, so nobody cared. The highlight of the televised card however was Gonzaga/Carwin and Munoz/Hamill.

The only thing I agree with what was said by White is the ****ty undercard that this fight will have. Juan Manuel Marquez poses just as much of a threat to Floyd Mayweather that Manny Pacquiao does. I'm more glad that this fight is happening myself, because Marquez deserves the payday.
