I think Mosley has the skills to still be an elite and contending fighter. But not an elite draw. Fighting Williams is the best thing for him right now IMO. If this is about legacy, because Williams is the best at 154 right now.

No. What Mosley needs to do is fight Paul Williams if he is willing to move back down to 147. Neither of those guys you mentioned deserve a shot at Mosley. I know Clottey came close to beating Cotto, but it's still the idea he's coming off a loss. And Berto shouldn't even be mentioned. A fight between Williams and Mosley will crown a Ring champ from what I understand. Because Ring will rank Paul at #2 at 147 if he just as so much schedules a fight there.

i know u are right.. shane have earned the right to say or try the best way he can.. the sad part .. is that he also needs to be realisitic. somebody needs to tell him... that the more time he waits.. the less share he will get...

i can be wrong.. but thats how i see it.... hes no sprin chicken and even that hs a secure future hof.... general boxing fans.. seems to not realize this.. thats why i think he should be aiming for fights that he will get for sure...

its sad cos if we aregoing to be fair.. shane deserves his bigges payday more than anybody.... i think that he let his wife ruin his career.. and now its kind of late to try to recover all the waisted time... still hopefully somebody step up

He shouldn't be crying about another fight being made without him and begging for fights. He has the right to do what he wants but so does Pacquiao and Mayweather. It's the begging that's making him look bad. Everyone always says Floyd says illogical things but the stuff that Shane has been saying is sounding far worse because everyone knows it isn't true. No way does Shane make more money for Pac than Cotto.

I agree and think he just needs to be realistic and stop begging. Shane has always been one of my fav fighters. I did lose some respect for him with the steroid **** and think he should have been suspended but because I've been watching him so long I remained a fan. He's just too out of character right now. I think he sees Floyd talking trash and stuff and is a bigger draw so Shane is trying to go that route but it just doesn't work for him. I do agree that jin messed his head up pretty bad though and ruined several years of his career. I'm pretty sure she's the one that made him turn down the 3rd oscar fight for $10 mil +. Big mistake!
