That one truly takes the cake for most sickening.

I don't know why the referee didn't jump in on that one.

      Christ.

Maybe it was because he was getting some criticism for stopping fights too early. Horribly slow stoppage.

Morrison-Mercer could have ended very badly.

A little known one. Alex Garcia vs Bernard Benton. One of the worst stoppages I've ever seen. It actually caused the referee to get banned from refereeing fights.

Yeah, I heard that on "Ring of Fire", about the criticism he was getting for his stoppages.

How unfortunate for him that the one time he decided to let the action continue ; it proved to be fatal.

Not sure I could live with myself after something like that.

i'd have to say that vicious knockout in the floyd-oscar fight i mean wow the way floyd just knocked the existence out of oscar in mere 10 seconds...wow, almost too much to relive!! and well...i think when floyd knocked out castillo in two fights in under 15 seconds was like...magestic.

                    -sigh.

Yeah, don't know if I could live with it either. Goldstein was a pretty good referee overall though, he made a mistake unfortunately in that fight.
