I don't believe in crazy conspiracy theories. There was a lot of money invested in the first date, unless they can offset that to make more it does not make any sence. They will sell more tickets but does that offset the cost of having to market the fight twice? Because the PPV will be about the same.

Floyd is human, humans can get injured that is more likely then hundereds of people pulling this off because Floyd could not pull this off alone he would need Golden Boy's help and HBO's because they would not just let him do that.

If the fight was canceled it would be more likely that something was up. Now that its back on makes it seem more likely to me that he got hurt.

It's a personal opinion and assessment..I could most definitely be wrong..but Like I said about Haye..sure..they're human but they are athletes as well..so their probability of suffering injuries are far less than the average human...these are guys who don't slouch between fights and are always in tip top shape..now that doesn't automatically make them impossible to be injured..but they can push their bodies alot further than average..so to all of a sudden call injury out on such a moment..with the rumors of poor ticket sales and his claim to being the biggest draw in today's boxing..he'd look EXTREMELY SILLY and would lose out on A LOT MORE if he went thru with it..didn't sell out the MGM and sold less than 500k PPV..considering he had a 24/7 series set up and fighting the #2 P4P in the WORLD!..

In all honesty la raza doesn't care about ****** dates or promotional stunts, they just love good fights especially the ones that include mexicans. Look at the margarito fight 21k packed into stapels in the middle of damn january! Ticket sales weren't the problem bro. To say it was is a slap to JMM because he will have the most fans there, mexican crowds never dissappoint and that's benn proven over and over and over in this sport of boxing. I had tickets to the july date I had everything booked and will still be in vegas that day cause I don't want to pay cancellation fess, but I'll be back in sept in which the fight will be on the day before my bday. Tickets weren't the reason it got postponed. Why do people think floyd cant get hurt? And why in the world would the oppossing promoter confirm his injury? The fight will sell out no matter what date its on. And part of it is floyd a lot of it is jmm. Floyd will always be a draw because of his zero, everyone wants to see him lose.

Floyd has you fooled, he will win this fight. They are doing great marketing, it will be fun seeing you at the fight and Floyd with his hands raised at the end... The crowd goes silent... As if it wasn't expected for Floyd to be victorious yet again!

Floyd doesn't habe anyone fooled, your just a kid full of hate. News flash for you there's not one fight from 130-154 that floyd wouldn't be favored to win, so ur post is pointless. Its people like you that wish he would david haye just to watch him lose.

Well according to Shane Mosley, PBF/JMM actually sold 2,300 tickets..

Now that I think about it, it's down from the 3,000 tickets reported weeks ago.

EDIT: It was actually Mosley who revealed the ticket sales, my mistake :-)

The point is, though, that they DO push their bodies a lot further than average - they have to. That's why athletes in all sports tend to suffer MORE physical injuries than the 'average human', not less.

I think a lot of Mexicans have the DLH fight in their mind on how he runs. Hence that's why there is not much interest in his fight with Marquez. My 2c.
