He was only interested in fighting the biggest name out there to get the most attention. It back fired on him big time. Oscar couldn't bring himself to fight a lesser know guy and then he does he comes in so under trained it's not funny.

I wouldn't read to much into him being there to hit as I would about him dropping down to 147lbs. Oscar got hit against Tito, Ike Quartey and Vargas too....The fact he came down 2 or 3 weight classes to fight a younger faster fighter with pop was his trouble. I still think he could beat most if not all at 154lbs right now. There just isn't enough big names to draw the right kind of $$$ for fights there.....Lefty
So now Oscar came down 3 weight classes to fight Manny?..Last time I checked it was 3 Ibs considering the fact that he fought Forbes at 150..

Ofcourse he wants to fight again and finish with a win, but he won't fight again, another loss would destroy his legacy.

And I have no desire to seem him the ring again, so it works out wonderfully.

Nice article. I don`t see why do so much people hate Oscar here...

He shouldn`t fight again... If he fights B,C- class fighters, he wouldn`t be Oscar anymore... This is all delaHoya is about: taking extreme challenges, and fighting the best competition... And no matter if he losses, as he did take the challenge... I always thought this is what Oscar should be loved for...

If I had Millie at home, I'd be damned if I'd ever consider fighting again.

****, I wouldn't consider doing anything ; aside from being in bed with her.

I probably wouldn't even go get the mail.
