pretty much, mosley isn't hard to find, he was getting hit against mayorga but margarito couldn't even touch shane so i don't see how he we would possibly hit floyd. No way floyd wins by stoppage unless margarito lunges at him, slips on a wet spot on the canvas and tears a knee ligament forcing him to retire from the fight.
Really big Mayweather idiots in here.

Really? Baldomir was equal height to Floyd. So the countering is much easier. When you punch up, its harder to counter. Pot shotting and backing off wont do much because Margarito doesn't fight like, "Move in, stop wait, try throw punches." Margarito goes like, "Walk through your punches, **** **** **** **** **** until you get out of the way. Repeat."
Sure Cotto looked horrible and I may be known to make jokes about it but that happens in boxing when you dont block your face. Cotto was trying to sway and fade, it didn't work and he paid for it.
Even after PWill, he faught Cintron again and faught him a round longer than the first time. If he had plaster after PWill(because his career is in jepordy, illogical to have it before), wouldn't Cintron be stopped quicker rather than later right?Comment

*pendulum swings again*
In all honesty, before the Mosley fight, I had a really strange feeling as me and partner were discussing the fight. I even threw up minutes before the announcement of substances were made.
As a former fan of the dude, I was severely disappointed in those actions.
I didn't watch it live over here, but when I woke up sunday morning and read about I was like
Why did you have that feeling? I had something like that back in Tyson's hey-day but that was more due to me being tired, sizzled and worried if the opponent could leave the ring at his own power.Comment

Lujan's ear? Way before Cotto, and before PWill. He was dropping guys like flies all his career.

So anyone that picks Mayweather by UD is ******ed and an idiot??? Well for your information TS i picked Margarito to KO Mosley and we all know what happened there, People picking Mayweather to beat Rito via easy UD are not that far off.Comment

What was not to like about Marg? But that **** left such a sour taste. I couldn't believe such a thing could happen today. And what the fuck was the supervisor doing? Why was it Mosley's cornerman and not the supervisor who saw it?

I swear, the ******ation that Mayweather createst is just rediculous. Im seeing posts about how Mayweather would beat Margarito in an easy UD. Are you people ****ing ******ed? Did your mom drop you on your head.
Mayweather is incredibly good. Has incredible talent, perfect time, good hand speed, great footwork, possibly the best defense ever etc. etc.
Now, I gotta say. When I see posts like this...
Im slap my head like the fucking V8 commercials.
I then see posts in the same thread like Margarito wasn't good. What the ****? Did these dudes become boxing fans last week or some ****? Let me dissect this showdown.
Mayweather had 1 fight with someone of Margarito's height. (And yes, in boxing height does play a huge factor in who wins.) That person was Del La Hoya, whom he faught to a Split Decision and had problems getting to Del La Hoya anyways. Now we can give it a break because Del La Hoya has a great jab, but the height and reach factor played huge in that fight. Del La Hoya being old was hesitant to pull the trigger and did not use any power shots at all. Which also played a factor into the fight.
Mayweather has faught no one with Margarito's record breaking work rate. Has only faught 1 person with his type of pressure. That person was Castillo and even then, Mayweather was give ALOT of problems. Many people think Castillo won that fight, so that shows you that Mayweather was given alot of problems.
Margarito is different though. His only KO loss was to Mosley, who fights nothing like Mayweather. Which means the chances of Mayweather knocking him out are less than 1%.He has 27 KOs in a 44 fight career, most comming in the first few rounds. Which means his power is great. He has a constant pressure that breaks the will of almost every fighter he has ever faced. His footwork is vastly underrated, it looks like he doesn't have any but he does. How you say? He is constantly swarming his opponent, his opponents move left, right, up, down and he is right there no matter where they turn. That is also footwork, not just backing up but moving forward is part of footwork as well.
Now people can bring up the Hatton and his pressure. Well guess what? Not of the same height, doesn't have the same chin or body, and Hatton clumsily walks in and gets fuc[[i]k/i]ed over by top tier fighters. Margarito moves in much differently.
You see. The thing that will hurt Mayweather is the combination of size, power, and constant pressure. Del La Hoya faught Mayweather to a SD but never pulled the trigger, providing almost the same type of pressure but no cigar. Margarito pressures and always pulls the trigger, always power shots. Goes to the head and body. Loves throwing uppercuts not just straights (like del la hoya did) Essentially never looks tired(fights the same from 1st to 12th), and constantly swarms his opponents without smothering himself or over persuing.
Mayweather is a great boxer. Incredibly skilled and gifted, add smarts too. However, every boxer has a weakness. Fighters like Margarito and Paul Williams are his kryptonite.
I like Mayweather as much as the next guy and if you have ever seen me post about Mayweather its never hating him. Its pretty much praises but its ****ing rediculous how anyone can think Mayweather beats fighters like Margarito or Paul Williams(basically a faster and smarter Margarito). 1600-1800 punches thrown at him(not just head hunting), Mayweather wont win.
Sorry to say it but in all honesty, Mayweather wont win. **** nuthugging, he is one of my favorites too but this is the truth.Comment

No, I never said that. There are some Mayweather crazed fans out there who really believe that he can beat someone like Margarito easily. I find that very ******. I am a fan of Mayweather btw.Comment

How could Floyd pot shot someone with that much reach on him? Margarito has the option of jabbing him to death all night and winning on points or forcing him into a corner and going to town with uppercuts. Floyds little elbows would be begging for mercy once Margarito landed a few shots on it. Floyd is a defensive fighter and fights are won offensively. He would be covering up the entire fight and running or his life. I don't see how Floyd could beat a Margarito.Comment
