Ok I know its safe to say that boxing will not die out. I'm just saying that I'm not sure if the next generation of stars have been promoted well enough and have the the right exposure to match the popularity or money of stars that preceded them. All the big names are fighting each other and not giving anyone else a chance to break through it seems. These new guys can make names for themselves, but it would be great for their careers to have a Cotto, Mosley, Pacquiao, Hatton win or lose on their resume to showcase them.

Maybe boxing will be better without mega-stars. Fighters won't be jumping division, ducking, pepole looking for paydays and have to fight everyone. And we would have more matches like Campbell-Bradley, Williams-Dzinziruk and have more clarity in divisions.

This happens all the time there's always new stars on the rise. Just look at what the 168 division will have next year abraham,andrade,bute,froch,kessler,taylor,green,pa vlik miranda,ward and chad said he might be willing to go down. What about linares,gamboa,juan lopez,linares,rigoneaux,lara,angulo,valero,ortiz,k orobov etc.........
