you must be mistaking charisma with clown antics...they're different things....tito, dlh, ray leonard, gatti, hatton, pacquiao....they're charismatic fighters that are all business in the ring

I'll agree with dlh, leonard, and hatton.

Tito was just the best boxer from PR so he was popular(homers), Gatti was a guy who got his ass beat but never stayed down, so he was popular, Pacquiao is the best ever from the Phillipines so he is popular. None of these guys have charisma, they are either the best from their homeland or you were in for your money's worth(Gatti's ass beating and then winning).

Juanma, I dont know. He will have to move up and guess who is waiting for him? Jorge Linares(S-feather), Edwin Valero(lightweight). Doesn't look like an easy road to glory to me.

Charisma has alot to do with the fame a boxer receives. If it wasn't for Charisma or flamboyance, Mayweather would not be doing comercials, Tyson would not be in movies, Delahoya would not be the huge star that he is etc.

Cotto has fans cause he's a warrior and his fights are exciting but other than that, he has no personality and very boring. Cotto sounds like a robot when he speaks and Puerto Ricans don't think he's humble, they say that he's a snob. Juanma on the other hand acts like a kid that you could hang out with, very personable, humble and also sporting a huge smile... People like that.... Look at Muhammed Ali....

Ali was the Floyd Mayweather of the 50s-60s.

Tito was popular but I didn't know about him(the bold). Maybe he did have charsima then, I thought his popularity came from being the best PR had to offer. I dont live in PR or anything so I dont know about how he acted in PR.

He's right the reason Juanma is getting so popular is because he reminds people of Tito.

He is. Lopez has already made a splash at 122. He should fight Caba soon. At 122 or 126 that fight looks good.
