Roach might try to work on it with him, since he'll obviously be watching tapes of Cotto and notice that he's open for it.
But I don't expect his uppercut to become as good as Clottey's overnight. It'll take some real work on his part (and Roach's) to get him throwing a solid one, because he's been throwing the same crap one for so many years.
If not, his handspeed and angles should make up whatever he'll lose by not having one.Comment

For Cotto ; I'd like to see more of an investment in the body against Manny.Roach might try to work on it with him, since he'll obviously be watching tapes of Cotto and notice that he's open for it.

Cotto's notorious for his body punching but he's left that by the wayside in recent fights.
He used it well against Gomez, then didn't use it at all against Margarito, then he used it really well against Jennings, but against Clottey I felt he could've done more body work.
He only really worked the body in sporadic periods, after the cut, when he felt a bit of urgency.Comment
