It's hard to say because Manny did put him on his ass. That being said I believe Manny felt defeated that night and Marquez felt like the winner for good reason.

One thing I do know is that Manny had no answer for JMM down the stretch in either fight.

As a student of the game I'd have to go with JMM. As a fight fan I'd go with Pac. Other than SMM I think Pac is a lil scared of JMM. Pac gave JMM his all in both fights and it wasn't enough, JMM took to long to get it going kind of like B-Hop/Taylor. Taylor doesn't posses half the skill B-Hop has but he was aggressive when it counted most.

Round by round I scored it for Juan Manuel Marquez. Pacquiao did the most damage however. Pacquiao was hurt several times in that fight though, on top of the fact of landing less overall punches. The second fight wasn't a robbery, but we need to see a third one soon. Especially once Marquez whips up on Floyd.

The knockdowns were never enough for me. Plus at most i think marquez was stunned not hurt he bounced back from all and IMO was able to fight on a higher level because of them. i felt marquez fought back hard and out boxed the man both times and was robbed.

There is no such thing as a robbery in a close fight.
