If Rocky lost he would most likely NEVER get another shot and NEVER be on the same level.
And what the hell are you talking about when you say that HBO is giving him shots after unimpressive performances especially when he was coming off of one of his best, Rocky in many peoples minds lost the 1st John fight but he fought him tougher than anyone and threw more shots then he is used to and tried his damnest so who and right before that came back and stopped Barrios in a WAR!
If anyone burns any bridges with HBO it is John for almost pulling out the first time and then this.
I had Juarez winning that fight, unlike a lot of people. It's just the idea that Juarez doesn't fight to the level of his capabilities. And it has kept his career at the fringe level time and time again. He is always competitive against the A-level fighters, but he doesn't show that extra gear to get victories over them. I'm just saying that his stock got lower after turning down Santiago. You don't turn down televised slots on HBO, because there are good chances that you may be fighting on ESPN or an HBO PPV card for peanuts. That is probably what Rocky is looking at.
