it'll be a boxing match with hard shots. Manny's speed will take over the first half of the fight and Cotto's adjustments is what defines the rest of the fight in my mind. If Cotto can deal with Pac's speed... he's got it. I think if the fight is won by Manny it's because of an early, fast TKO. I don't think he's getting KO'd but I think Manny can hurt Cotto. I am wondering how 145 will look on Cotto. We saw him at 146 and he didn't look good. He lacked his usual power and speed. We'll see.

Theres no Shame in being KO'd by 2 greats. Theres plenty shame in quitting though.

No shame on being blasted out and knocked the **** out in two rounds. At least there are doubts that the Cotto fight was even fair and he gave almost as good as he got. Hatton was never in the fight Pac made him look like a little kid.

Anyways I think Cotto is going to time Pac with his jab and catch him coming in. Pac is going to try to dance around him but Cotto will cut off the ring and get to him on the ropes.

Agreed, its all up to Cotto's timing

JMM isn't that quick but he made Pac look ****** at times, obviously Cotto isn't as good as JMM but Cotto needs to use that strong jab and enforce his will on Manny

Pac will use his speed to dart in and out wit quick flurries. Eventually, Cotto will get close and land sumthin big. If Pac can take it, he cruises to a UD or possible KO via accumulation. If not, he's out. We gotta see if 145 affects Cotto's strength, which I don't think it will.

i think the assumption against manny is the bigger you are the better you will be able to neutralize his speed. i think those that aren't looking at the fact he brings power + speed. no matter what you want to think. look at jmm, diaz, ODLH, and hatton faces after the fights. then your going to be in for a rude awakening. PAC will get hit and everyone's question should always be. will cotto's punch wake PAC from his dominance? if cottos punch hurts manny. I think cotto wins. it's that one shot i'm waiting for to show if Manny will be able to recover quick after big shots from BIGGER fighters. if he can take the punch. i expect manny to jump on the kill and quick.

that is understood. i think both sides of fans are underestimating. that's why forum arguments = nothing good will come out. everyone has already set in stone their own opinions.
