Miguel Cotto is "Not Impressed By Manny Pacquiao"

He's already started talking like Ricky. Watch him say on 24/7 "I have good defense. My only weakness is the uppercut, and Manny doesn't have one." We all know what will happen during the fight though.

But I love the confidence. His fans can learn a thing or two from Cotto.

This is a great match-up.

This is the precise reason I think Manny WILL win this fight. Pac's new weapon in this fight will be the left uppercut and he will beat Cotto to the punch all night- Cotto better just prepare and worry about himself because you all better believe that Roach is already watching tapes of Cotto's fights and preparing a strategy just like he did for Hatton and we saw how well that worked.

Soto isn't a Jnr Welterweight! Fighting him isn't cleaning out his division. From that point of view the Bradley-Campbell winner is the obvious fight. Cotto is regarded by most as a much more high risk fight for him though. But in any case, Pac did clean out Super Featherweight and Featherweight when he was at those weights, against superb opposition.

Bradley and Campell are busy fighting each other and that's why I suggested Humberto Soto as an opponent. Do you honestly think Soto would turn this fight down if it was offered to him? I am not totally bashing the Cotto-Pacquiao fight as a circus act, but I've got my doubts about it even going down. A lot of things need to iron out in the negotiations. Who is Pacquiao going to fight if this fight does fall through? He isn't going to sit out for the rest of the year is he?

the bad thing is that i really dont expect any change on miguel... if he keeps working with the very same ppl.. he needs somebody to this fight.. some advisor....... but still if he doesnt have it..

he has earn my respect and im confident that he can beat pac....

the only big advantage that i see on pac... is his stamina...

yeahh manny is quick as hell.. but timing... just timing can equalize that.....


but the stamina?? THERES NO WAY cottos is getting close to mannys stamina... not even working with bolt....

Margo just walked on top of Cotto taking everything Cotto could throw, Bombs on de jaw did not deter Margo and he kept coming then started landing and hurting Cotto , as the rounds went so did the Margo INTENSITY until Cotto QUIT, we all saw him QUIT, shook his head in the corner he went down in but not from a PUNCH, but because his heart QUIT !

I am not making light of Cotto !!!!!! I loved to watch the guy fight !!!!!! When you Quit after a beating like he took , it takes something out of you and you will QUIT again !!!! If you have eyes to see with then you should have seen something that showed you that in his last two fights. For ONE his body language in da RANG !

Pac will begin to land SEVERE shots to the nose and jaw of Cotto, and you will see Cotto backing up like he did with Clottey with the same anguished look on his face , Pac will either Knock him out or Cotto won't be able to take the punishment and quit which is the pressure I was refering too, Pacs pressure will come from the wicked shots from both hands whereas Margo just steamrolled Cotto.

I am sorry but your list just doesn't apply to this fight. Pac and Cotto is within an inch of the same height, and they have the same reach and Pac is the fastest , the quickest of the two and he will land quicker , meaner and faster and its gonna be Cotto on his face and done n !!!
