What Cotto has over JMM.

Foot Movement and hand speed, I would say a WW Cotto has faster hand speed then a SFW JMM. Cotto is the harder puncher ofcourse, as for heart...these 2 can take it just as well as anybody. What JMM has over Pacquiao is slightly better timing, better counter puncher, better stamina. All I'm saying is, because Cotto isn't as good of a boxer as JMM doesn't mean he can't win. That said, I'm still picking Pacquiao to win. Oh yes and Cotto does have a better jab.

JMM at SFW and even LW has faster hands than Cotto.

As far as the footmovement, to be able to land combinations as effectively as he does, you need excellent foot movement and positioning.

We have to remember that Cotto's foot movement may seem better because he's usually the agressor who has to cut off the ring. JMM has never really needed to cut off the ring against the best op like Pacquiao and Diaz. Even Casamayor was being agressive.

I haven't seen good hand speed from JMM since he faught at 126. Everything with him has been perfect timing and great countering. I still say Cotto has the better hand speed, I'm not gonna judge Cotto on Clottey. While I had Clottey winning that, Cotto didn't look like Cotto. I'm going with the Cotto I saw against Margarito, Zab, Quintana and Shane. I believe that is the Cotto we might see against Pacquiao. Again, I'm still picking Pacquiao to win.

He is better because he got knocked out by Margarito, while JMM knocked out a better fighter in Diaz, duh!
