Here's the thing guys... As good as Marquez is, Manny was still able to find a way to knock him down 4 times. Marquez is a wizard in that ring, yet Manny found a home for his shots. Cotto is somewhat flawed defensively. You all can say what you want, but he gets hit and gets busted up. He gets caught and hurt. He couldn't even avoid punishment by the slowest fighter in the game. If Manny can find Marquez' chin he won't have a problem finding Miguel's.

Marquez is a better technical fighter (cotto is very good though) and seems to recover and fight back better when hurt or in a tough situation (although cotto showed he can do this vs clottey, marquez has done it time and time again)
Cotto however is stronger on the front foot, doesnt go down or get hurt as easily and has an arsenal of shots nearly as good as marquez's, as for power, cotto would hit harder in real life, in a p4p sense though .... marquez stopped casa and diaz who both have good chins.....plus he wobbled manny plenty of times. Cotto stopped Judah, but only after lots of punishment, and Judah doesnt have the best chin, p4p id say marquez is a better puncher
overall Marquez is the better fighter, but cotto can still pose many problems to mannyComment
