      Light years? really.....hahah

Like I said, people mistake athletic ability with pure skill. When you look at JMM he's nothing special physically. He's not very fast, he doesn't have great power, he doesn't really even have an iron chin like most Mexican greats...

What he does have is BOXING SKILLS. He's like a coach in the ring, he doesn't need to be told over and over what adjustments to make. If you listen to Nacho in his corner, a lot of times he just tells him.."You know what you need to do" because the man already knows.

The fact that JMM has learned his craft and eveolved the way he has is amazing considering he doesn't have the natural abilities guys like Mayweather, Ivan, Barrera, Pac and Morales have over him. Yet at age 35 he's considered one of the best pound4pound fighters in the world.

cotto is too big and strong. manny likes to fight so he will get hit and it won't do to get hit by cotto even a few times.

cotto knocked down clottey w/ a jab. cotto's jab is gonna be knocking pac around the ring easily. he is just too strong.

I don't think Cotto's jab alone is going to beat Pacquiao or any other elite fighter. The jab is a big key, but Cotto's also gotta watch Manny's lead left hand that can also play the role of a jab getting Cotto off rhythm.

The size difference isn't going to be that drastic to where Cotto is going to be this monster chasing Pacquiao. I think that's where people get a bit clouded with how the fight will turn out. I see it more of who can control the pace and who can be the more consistent puncher both on volume and connecting. Both punch with accuracy and both have power to take the other out.

cotto's jab is going to be very strong. cotto should be able to move pac wherever he wants to with that jab. even if it doesn't connect flush, it will push pac around.

all you gotta know is that cotto will basically be a middleweight on fight night and pac will be basically a welterweight.

                    lol. at these.

"a good jab doesn't mke you a good boxer" uh, that's half the battle.

"cotto isn't as good defensively as jmm" cause jmm hasn't gotten busted and bloody as well.

what makes jmm exceptional is his counter punching, and his combo punching to go with heart.

cotto is a very good counter puncher when he decides to be, and is a very good combo puncher, and he's shown plenty of heart.

some of you are hella off base. like we're comparing whitaker to mayorga. smh.

JMM has the better boxing skills of the two.
