he's not as intelligent a boxer. JMM always adapts and finds a way to win, cottos just good at sticking to a gameplan (regardless of whether its working or not, see the margarito fight).

In terms of raw physical talent i dont think theres a massive gap between them. they both have world class handspeed, great footwork, their both animals in terms of workrate and aggression, JMM has the better defense and maybe the knockout punch that cotto lacks

good point. that's what i keep saying, pacquiao only has a fighters chance, but if he couldn't take oscar out, he aints taking Cotto out that's for sure.

This topic is ****, because Cotto does some things better than Marquez and Marquez does some things better than Cotto. They cannot be compared. Marquezs jab is not known to be painful, have you seen still pictures of Cottos opponents taking a jab to the face? They look like they were hit by hooks but it was just a jab!
