Its not that clear to me. They have different styles which make it seem like Manny is faster because he fights in that frenetic way.
But when Cotto lets his hands fly he's pretty fast his damn self.

It really depends on how well can cotto time his counter and how well manny handles the power behind cottos strikes. thats what will determine who will win the fight.. cotto cannot let manny get into rythim.

Pacquiao doesn't have a regular or predictable rhythm. But I agree -- he should avoid getting into any kind of rhythm, he needs to keep it syncopated and off-beat, and this goes for any fighter.

Cotto has dealt with handspeed before. If anything Manny might trouble him with footspeed

Timing will win this fight. If Cotto's timing is down Manny will pay when darting in. On the other side of the coin, Cotto will have to be wary of Manny's punches as Manny will hit hard enough to hurt and cut him.
