I think your 100% right. In boxing your mental state is just as important as your physical condition and Margie was there but he really wasn't there. I'm sure he wasn't thinking about executing the game plan in this fight; he was probably thinking Im done, my career is done, everyone in Mexico is going to know im a cheater. Man if that's not enough to discourage you to the point of ineptitude I dont know what will. Call me crazy but I think he actually looked forward to getting knocked out as a form of getting pity or praise for valor,while escaping some of the wrath that was sure to come. BTW Im not saying that this was the reason Mosley won but it definitely contributed in how vicious and lopsided the fight was.

Margarito looked very sluggish in that fight i think he had trouble making weight, not making excuses i think Mosley beats him on any night because of his power being great and ability to box. But Margarito did look different in that fight and the prefight stuff probably made things worse mentally on him. I think in a rematch Mosley still wins but by decision and not KO.

Yes I believe that would be better but when your caught red handed you don't think straight as your guilty conscious start playing tricks on you letting you know how screwed up you are and how there is no way out. Also remember, that Tony wasn't the only one affected, it was his whole team. BTW even if he would have won that still wouldn't have prove that this was the first time they relied on an illegal substance or that it was all just an innocent mistake. So win or loose they still had to deal with being caught.

during the time leading to the fight i was hoping that he would but i knew there was a possibility of him losing......why he lost maybe because it was Mosley's day or because he lost confidence when they found the wraps on him but i believe from him making his entrance i could see he looked tired and not the same......when he threw his first punch (which was a jab) it looked completely different from his previous fights......i believe that after the cotto fight he felt on top of the world and wasnt hungry anymore like he was and i would see him on tv all the time in quite a few boxing events in mexico this leads me to believ he didnt take mosley seriously and didnt prepare properly for the fight......his stamina wasn't there during the fight and neither was his heart........i think that during the fight he just was too tired to do anything and when you get really tired like he did that day even if you have a best chin
there is eventually your arms will get tired from from having them up for blocking and so will your legs and that is why get got knocked down that and the power of the punch that he was hit with

margarito could win in a rematch IF he goes back to how he used to back in the day
