Should Klitschko fight in a more exciting/dangerous style? Unofficial Poll.

Should Klitschko fight in a more exciting/dangerous style? Unofficial Poll. It seems Boxingscene is split currently between two schools of thought. Half NSB appreciates that Wladimir is dominating and has found a style that doesn't expose his only weakness(chin.) The other half of NSB acknowledges he is fighting to win but thinks he needs to change his style to be more fan friendly. If not for his own fan base but for the good of all boxing. Where do you stand? Poll to follow.

His current style is fine. His sole focus should be to keep winning.

He needs to make his style more fan friendly, what he's doing now isn't working.

I'm finished with him. I'm done watching Wlad unless it's against Haye.

He's gradually become more fan friendly. If he continues improving slightly. I'm okay with him.

he doesnt need to change his style completely, just finish a guy when hes ready to go. wlad can have a guy mentally defeated and tired, right there to be hit and he still doesnt let go of the bombs. his jab and grab cautious style is fine, but when someone is ready to go he should knock em out. thats all he needs to change, know when to step on the gass. nobody is expecting him to come out like tyson from the first bell.

No one called Ali boring when he won by decision, so NO.

To be fair, I don't want Wlad to change his style because that's how he fights. It's up to the HW division to force Wlad to fight dangerous.

If Haye is throwing bombs and catches Wlad on the chin, he may come out of his shell and throw caution to the wind.

I am a fan of Wlad's methodical break down of opponents I actually hate quick ko's......especially when a fight has been built up for several months.

ali didnt go to decisions against guys who were completely outclassed. u dont have to knock ppl out to be exciting anyways, but when u have a guy who doesnt want to fight anymore and dont finish him of its messed up. if ali had someone ready to go he took em out and wlad should do the same. nothing wrong with being a boxer, but when u get the chance to finish u should take it. watching wlad isnt just boring its frustrating.

              your comparison is weak..

I'm just curious. When I see a fight I really like or think is entertaining. I'll frequently watching it no less than 2 times. You mean to tell me you rewatch Wladimir Jab fests over 2 times? I don't want to disrespect Wlad cause he's getting the job done but I would not voluntarily sit through his performance against Chag, Ibragimov, or Tony the Tiger again.. I think the whole point is that occasionally a guy puts on a performance you'd want to rewatch.. But maybe people actually enjoy watching his jab.

I thought Klitschko's performance was most impressive but thought he throw more body punches and uppercuts (I don't think he threw any)...

Yes, he did. He had many problems with all kinds of fighters. That's why his KOratio is sooo weak. He also had gift decisions, which is the last thing you can claim about Klitschko.

Ali would be booed nowadays. There no chance in the world that the running away ("floating" = keeping yourself completely out of the range of the opponent) and featherfistedness and dirty clinching would be tolerated by fans nowadays.

With so little KOs like Ali he obviously didn't have a lot people ready.
