I laugh how people say hes better than Floyd Mayweather, Pernell has been knocked down in his career and hurt....he got knocked down by fkin Roger Mayweather out of all people for ****s sake haha

Mayweather has never been down and rarely ever gets hit clean, he is far superior to Pernell ****licker
I agree although i think Pernell's defense is also world class. The problem with it is that he didn't counter while at it. It was more of a showboat thing to be honest. An showoff of flexibility and reflexes. Floyd actually make you pay for trying to hit him, he hits u, u don't hit back. Pernell was more of "throw me everything u can while i dance around those punches" and only when his guy stop throwing he would go to offense.

He may not know it and made this thread for other reasons, but he has a point. Floyd's defense is more effective, he hits people on the breaks and counters. It's extremely hard to fight against Floyd because of it.

Floyds defense being good, doesn't make Whitaker's defense bad.

Roy threw triple left hooks.. therefore Earnie Shavers left hook was overrated.

            No.

WHat the fk the point in slipping and ducking punches when your doing nothing in return???

Yes, im sure the overrated Whitaker's intentions were to make the other guy gas out from missing so much.

                Err yes he did.

Whitaker did not pick DLH,Chavez off as much as he should of because........ imo Whitaker was not as good as Floyd from long range but he was a lot better in the pocket at making you pay than Floyd.

                  Talking out your arse son.

Do you understand anything about Boxing ? well you should know that Whitaker fought from long range against Nelson/Chavez and no he did not counter as effective as he usually does, but that is because he was fighting Nelson and Chavez, when has Floyd fought an opponent of that caliber? answer = NEVER.

Mayweather is better at countering from longe range, but Whitaker ****s all over him in the pocket and hardly ever misses an opportunity to counter.
