Indeed he would get KOed trying to earn it, so he just wants to cash out against a Klitschko.

Haye's inactivity will cause some ring rust by the time he does fight a Klitschko. He will have fought only once in 18 months by September.

All respect to Povetkin he wants his rightfull shot at the Heavyweight Title as he has earned it and feels in his mind he can defeat Wladmir.

But in all honestly I don't think Wlad would have to much trouble beating Povetkin. I feel he would use his higher skills level's to beat Povetkin. I feel Wlad could control Povetkin with his accurate pistol like Jab and and could also score his right crosses and combination's, when he wants to, Wlad punchers hard enough to hurt virtually all Heavyweights, and I woundn't be surprised if he were to drop Povetkin similar to Chagaev.

Chagaev and Povetkin also have alot of things in common. Both were world class level amature's. Both going into Wlad's fight will or have been unbeaten. Both eastern europeans fighters, who have been taught well and well schooled by there native countries. Both fighters aren't huge punchers, but both are heavy handed. both also have sound chins, and both have suffered inactivity.

I also don't feel Povetkin would have a real punchers chance against Wlad, he is a more of a wear you down type fighter and isn't a one punch KO fighter.

Wlad takes this fight on a lopsided UD or a corner stoppage victory, or even a KO victory.

Povetkin vs Wlad is going to look a lot like Chageav vs Wlad did with the exception being Chageav has a better defense.

In my opinion Povetkin is better than Chagaev. Povetkin has fought a couple of different styles. I've seen him where he just uses his workrate to get his opponent out of their, and I've also seen when he uses his counter punchering ability and makes his opponent throw the first punch and than he counters them. Povetkin is smarter than he gets credited on this forum.

            this is an easy fix

            Klits vs, Povetkin in Sept.
haye vs. legit top 10 in sept.

winners face each other in Dec.

lest we forget, though, this is boxing. nothing ever comes this easy...

I'm looking forward to this fight.povetkin has stepped aside once & was injured another time.I think this is one of the best opponents out there for wlad.haye & arreola will be next after this fight.

Povetkin has a pretty damn good record, but lets be honest he'd lose badly.

Povetkin probably would lose, its a bit too soon for him to jump in the ring against either Klitschkos.

Offensively Povetkin is the most sophisticated non-Klit in the division, but he gets tagged by right hands in every fight. Against Wlad this is a recipe for disaster. Thompson and Chagaev were southpaws with good defense. Povetkin is a come-forward orthodox fighter with subpar defense. This fight doesn't last as long.

I think chagaev isn't that good.wow! Be beat valuev & ruiz(even that's questionable)so why did anyone think he even had a chance.he got a favorable decision vs drumond.chagaev is done! I bet he retires.too many injuries & illness.he's had a couple of nice paydays & should be financially ok if he wasn't an idiot with his $.povetkin/haye/arreola in that order.povetkin would take out chagaev I think with little trouble & ditto for arreola & haye.just because he has a good amateur pedigree doesn't mean he'll have the same success in the pros.I just think chagaev was an opponent & I'm not even sure he has enough left too even beat valuev.
