just because he's a natural featherweight who is a blown up lightweight he thinks he can pull this crap. bull****.

everyone knows it's unfair to cotto to only be 12 lbs. heavier than his opponent come fight night.

cotto needs to be at least 15 lbs. heavier to compete with pacquiao.

    pacquiao is scared.
    Nice try.

Step up and fight at 147 so we can get a real WW fight. I am sick of catchweight fights and Roach trying to weight drained fighters.

Yeah definitely. Chavez/Whitaker was the number one and two P4P guys fighting each other, but, the difference is they were both very active, both were undefeated (obviously Whitaker had that one discrepancy but no one took any notice of that because it was one of the great robberies of all time, so he was unofficially undefeated) and of course Chavez had the greatest undefeated streak of all time and they were both ruling their respective weight divisions, which happened to be only one division apart.

It has a similar thing going but it could never really reach those same heights that that fight reached. Not only that but Chavez was, of course, the most popular fighter possibly in the history of the sport in the sense of he literally had an entire nation watching from early on up to that fight in particular. He still holds the record for largest attendance ever if I remember correctly. Well over 135,000 people!

Pacquiao is no Chavez and Mayweather is a poor mans Whitaker. So it dosen't have the ingridients.

Really? At least Hatton has a big heart and doesn't quit unlike Cotto.

Hatton turns up to fight his ass of every fight, not shy away like Cotto did last weekend and go for a UD/SD. Theres a reason Hatton has got 20k following him on a 11 hr flight, because he's a more exicting fighter. Damn, even when his camp was in a real mess last time out he still didn't pull out because he'd never let his fans down unlike QUITTO

Ricky hugaton more exiting than Cotto what a joke.

Too bad hes such a **** fighter, a smaller man totally outclassed him, embarased him and knocked him out senseless in two rounds.
