He is NOT the true Champion I don't care what any one says. As long as his brother came back and took Peter's title and Peter out of th epicture for him his brother has more claim to the Tue Champ title then he does. I don;t care how many alphabet titles he holds and how many times he defended them.

he is 33 years old he is not in his prime You prime years in boxing are usually from 25-30 that is pretty much in every sport. Even if he fights for 3 more years and fights 3 or 4 times a yearit would be only 12 title defenses. He just got the ring belt and was crowned HW Champion as far as the public is cincered so 12 is only half of 25. i don;t care how many times he defended the IBO, WBO, IBF or any othe alphbet belt for that matter.....Lefty

What do you think? Obviously two different cases here. Joe Louis was THE champion for all of his defenses while Wlad hasn't even gotten all the belts yet. But counting the main 4 belts, (correct me if I'm wrong) he has defended at least one of them 12 times. He's almost halfway there and just entering the prime of his career.

If he gets by Haye, I see him dominating easily for the next 3 years. That's when the next batch of prospects will be coming through (Fury, Wilder, ect.).

Keep in mind, other than waiting 6 months for Haye in 2009, Wlad fights 3-4 times a year.

Of these 26 world title wins 16 were against cruisers (like Davis 190 lbs, 5-21) or even sub-cruisers (Conn, 174 lbs).

If you check his 200+ world title wins then Joe Louis won only THREE times in a row (Nova, Baer, Simon).

wlad has only just established lineage so hes got a long way to go, because in my eyes he will need to win 25 times starting now... just my opinion though

If they will make a superheavyweight division 215+ or so, then the win over Chris Byrd will not count for that division.

Moreover if Byrd claims that he was under 200 (and we know what a one-sided bashing he received) then this shows you what a crap the 70ies were.
