Counterpunchers and fighters with great timing were the ones that gave Morales the most trouble, JMM is one of the best at both in the past 20 years but his chin isn't as good as Morales' and Morales was a big puncher, if Marquez gets careless like he was against Pacquaio in both their fights, Morales would have probably finished him but if he stays with his gameplan for all 12 rounds and doesn't get hit by anything too serious, he wins this by decision in a very competitive fight.

Terrible has pedigree too, but his tendency to brawl needlessly a la 12th round against Manny, makes me think JMM will out duel him in the trenches.

Its a damn shame this fight never took place circa 2002-03.

My Mexican musketeer lineup looks like this:

              JMM by a hair
              Erik Morales
              MAB

dont forget that legendary beard too...it affords him the luxury of going balls out in any situation

my lineup goes like this: EM, JMM, MAB

That Morales beard up untill 2005 was amazing. I was shocked that he was still up after that 12th round vicous assault he took from Pacquiao, which he basically gave him. by the 10th I knew Morales had it in the bag, but when he went south paw I was like. .

Morales' beard es muy firme. But JMM takin' the kinds of bombs from Packy that put Ricky Hatton on Pluto makes me think his chin's severely underrated by some of the posters on here.

No **** street. I was in the arena that night and I gotta tell you man, that 12th round was legend.
People took like 20 minutes to collect themselves after that ****.
