Abraham has accordingly trained as hard as ever before. Trainer Ulli Wegner:

"Who want's to move up a division following a defeat? That's why we at the camp at the Baltic has trained as hard as ever before."

AA has had welldocumented weight problems in the past and has had to shed some 17 lbs shortly before a fight. Such a draining means loss of power.

Kalle Sauerland (Abraham's promotor) says: "Supermiddleweight is the best division in boxing today."

Looks like Pavlik (Arum) has waited to long
AA is having so much trouble making weight now, it won't be long before he can't make SMW.

Arum didn't want Pavlik to get in the ring with AA and AA has had trouble with the weight and didn't want to wait any longer. I don't blame him.

though AA hasnt fought anyone of note except Miranda(first fight), not sure how long Arum expected him to wait on their BS. Dont blame him one bit for moving up. Why continue to destroy your body to defend against bums when you could move up and make some money. I also tend to agree that AA might not be able to hang around at SMW long. AA vs. Dawson anyone???

          I demand more Kessler news.

Have the police removed their restraining order for you that said you had to stay more than 100meters from Kessler because of all the stalking you did?

J/K. Just haven't heard about the Viking lately and you and the rest of TEAM PALLE seem to have the inside scoop on him.

With regard to AA, I heard he's interested in **** after getting oral.

I am glad he's moving up. Sturm didn't want any of that and it sure seems like Pavlik didn't either.

He ought to be able to get some good fights at 168.

AA's style is will not work at 168...it's barely working at 160.

He's not a big guy..he should stay at 160....he should learn restraint..push away from the table....drive past the pastry shop...hit the gym instead of the buffet....go home instead of the strip club.

AA acts just like a broke-ass gypsy that's not used to having ****.

168 will not make him a better fighter.

I'm not suprised by this. Kalle Sauerland been saying for a year or so if they couldn't get Pavlik by November then they would have to move up a division. AA been struggling to make middleweight for last 18months or so.

It is a shame really cos this a fight everyone wanted to see and would of been one hell of a fight. yet again Boxing fans let down

It's disappointing to me that it has come down to this. Even though I do not think highly of Abraham's resume, Pavlik has dropped the ball big time where his resume is concerned as well. Both of these guys needed to fight each other, and talks about it were just hot smoke. Abraham hasn't done himself any favors when it comes to getting a shot at Pavlik by fighting the bums he has though.

When you consider that 160 is a super-weak division.

Hiding behind his gloves and letting his opponents get-off works when the comp is weak...but it's an invite to getting hurt badly by better fighters.
