We want to see him in a competitive fight, we want to see him enhance his legacy even further, so I don't see any alternative besides 147 pounds.

Mayweather, JMM, or top 147 pounders. Pac fighting anyone else is pointless.
Pac only weighed 148 fight night on his lone welterweight fight and his opponents surely will out weight him by at least 10 lbs or more plus he's lightweight with small body frame if you compare him to other big WW's. So its not fair. Then if he fight them at catch weight people will bitching and he gets no credit for it if he win.

I wish he would to be honest. I put more stock into cleaning out weight divisions than bouncing from weight class to weight class just going after name fighters. Arguello, Sanchez, Duran, Hagler, and McCallum are examples of the true throw backs. And I would respect Pacquiao and Mayweather more if they patterned their careers after these guys.
