I have been consistently supporting Cotto, by wanting Pac to fight him at 147lbs.

Cotto is PR, not black.

Pascal had a great performance... but LOL @ people who want to compare him to Roy.

I think Pac is one of the only fighters based on SPEED, southpaw stance, stamina, movement, and power.. to beat Floyd.

Should they ever fight.. I would bet on Floyd... I would be cheering for PAC 100%.... I want Pac to beat Floyd. Sticky note that ****.


This entire thread I have been consistent in what I have said. Wlad did what he needed to do... and he fights EVERYONE in ihs division. I was talking about constructive things, things he could possibly add to his arsenal to make him even better than what he is now. I did not, like alot of people in here... **** on him.

And my 2 favorite UFC fighters are Chuck and Mirco Cro Crop.

I was severely let down when Rampage KOed Chuck in the rematch.

In all honesty reed you need to be close to throw a left hook, body shot, and uppercut, and Wlad fights, and Wlad fights at long range, wher the only effective punches are the jab and the right hand. Since this is the cae coupled with the fact that he does not close the gap and come in the inside to finish his opponents their will be no noticeable hooks, uppercuts, or body shots.

When Ruslan's head bounces off Wlad's right hand, he is anything BUT in danger from being countered should he throw a left hook.

And some fighters throw compact left hooks, and some are able to throw long range left hooks... Wlad can definitely throw a long range left hook...

I think Pacs in and out movement and straight lefts and left hooks are going to really mess with Floyds shoulder roll defense... I am hoping so anyways...

Simply put,Wladimir is a superb athlete with good skills and takes care of his business in the most risk free way possible and for that he is to be commended,but, and it is a big but, the heavyweight division is the blue ribband prize in the sport and the big guys are what the general public or casual fans(who,like it or not are vital to the sports survival) want to see. They want to see excitement from the heavyweight champion of the world.

You just dont get that from Wlad,and you can call him the undisputed champ til you are blue in the face, the fact is he is the second best heavyweight in the world. Second to his brother Vitali, who sadly curtailed the best years of his career. You look at Vitali and say yep,this guy is the ultimate heavyweight out there, and so much better than the so-called undisputed champ(wbc anyone?).

Wlad likes to fight with a lot of room between him and his opponent, and in his fights you can notice when he throws jabs and rights he lands them always at the end of his punch. This is where he is most comfortable and effective, so even if he were to throw a long looping left he would have to come forward a bit, and he simply isn't comfortable there.

True. Floyd could always resort to keeping his hands high like against Judah.

I think Floyd can catch Pac at times when Pac moves out he sometimes leaves himself open for a counter.

At some points Floyd may welcome Pac coming in. Pac jumps in and jumps out...I wonder if he can fight on the inside well...I doubt he can as good as Floyd.

It would really be important on who can control the pace and who can adapt better to the other fighter. No one at 140-147 is intelligent as Floyd in the ring.
