He put on a good, but highly unentertaining performance last night. His quality of opposition is bad and everyone knows it. Hence why he will go down as a good fighter in a bad division.
Another reason why it was dissapointing is because everyone wanted the Haye fight but were dissapointed when Haye pulled out and we had to settle for Chagaev.

Until he fights and beats Haye/Dimitrenko (ideally a fight with Vitali, but that's never going to happen in a million years) he won't go down as a great fighter and will be forgotten easilly due to not beating anyone of note.

US boxing fans have 3 features:
      1. They mainly like only American boxers
      2. They despise their boxers as soon as they lose
      3. They love Mike Tyson and ignore all his losses and non-KO victories.

There is no worse fan base to have except American fans. In Germany (where most heavyweight fights happen nowadays) they still respect a boxer even if he loses (e.g. Chris Byrd) for the courage to step into the ring and try to deliver a good performance even if it fails.

You have to consider the QUALITY of opposition donkey.

Ali would whipe his ass with those walruses Vlad is slapping around.

Vlad has been KTFO by bums that couldn't hit Ali with rice at a wedding.

Wlad beats who they put in front of him.

It's not his fault that the heavyweight division is weak and it's not his fault that he is so much better than anyone else in the division.

He put on a flawlessly brilliant performance today against an undefeated opponent today, a fighter who was a world champion as both a pro and an amateur, a tough man who had never been knocked down. And Wlad dominated every minute of every round, putting him on the canvas in the second round, and beating him so badly, Chagaev's corner had to stop the fight after the ninth.

But the haters are still bashing Wladimir. They always trying to find new excuses to hate this man.

Wlad now has 47 KO wins. His KO percentage is higher than Johnson, Louis, Ali, Holmes, and Lewis, the great fighters of other eras. Were their fights really so much more exciting than Wlad's? Or is there some OTHER reason why the haters cannot restrain themselves from expressing their negativity?

There couldn't be a better heavyweight champion than Wladimir Klitschko! He's dominant inside the ring, and a man of finest character outside.

But sadly, there will always be those who hate him. The wisest thing for Klitschko fans to do is just ignore them, because the better Wlad does, the more hate he'll be given from those kind of people.
I agree, and it is always by the same insecure, jealous little pencil ****s
like STILL DETOX and mr.crust. They hate the fact that Wlad is a tall
very good looking man, who is at the top of the HW. I would love to
see how these little chavs would act, infront of Wlad....lmao. he
would put them in a coma.

Chavez Jr beats who they put in front on him too.

It IS Vlad's fault that he keeps his feet too far apart..

It IS his fault that he drops his jab to his balls.

It IS his fault that he still leans straight back like a fresh rookie.

He IS the best turd in the unflushed toilet that is today's heavyweight division.

Chavez jr isn't at the top of his division so the comparison sucks. The heavyweight division is weak, you can't blame the fighter for that.

You are talking about Wlads flaws but they haven't seemed to be a problem over the past 5 years.

I'm beginning to see a trend here that is confirmed by many posting at the moment. Americans are INFATUATED with American boxers and by the need to win constantly in wars where your chin needs to tested ad nauseum. That is NOT what they teach you in boxing. Someone ALWAYS has your number. You will not always win. Someone will always hit harder. Don't get hit AT ALL if you can help it. What the **** is with American boxing fans. I saw a brilliant display of BOXING and all I see is garbage posting. WTF???? Ruslan Chaegev could line every fatass posting here and go through them like swine flu. He beat Felix Savon TWICE. He beat Valuev, which I must ask, if it is such an easy task, why didn't any hero American boxers just knock him out? It's time to wake up and watch some boxing, not toughman competitions or whatever the **** you guys want to see. That was a masterclass in out fighting....you know...the style you would use if you were Wlads height. I dob't understand why, to get glory he needs to stick his head where it's going to get ****** just to appease the fickle fair weather fans here. Wlad is never going to lay on some 6'3" rhino and try to knock him out in some wild winging from the fences competition and furthermore, wtf should he????

Wladimir done his job against another fighter who comes with zero pressure, these hand picked fighters he's in against are laughable. Chagaev was a disgrace, why the **** would he stand off a guy who is bigger, has a bigger reach and likes to pump the jab? Chagaev was clueless and has always been overrated. Fight someone who will pressure you Wlad, someone like Haye or Arreola next would be nice.
