Can you just imagine how many fights would of had different outcomes had they been
    15 rounders....

There are no Championship rounds these days.

13/14/15 were the real/true Championship rounds, many a fighter has been winning a fight and then got KTFO in those rounds remaining rounds.

Because Jermain Taylor would of lost 1/3 of his fights if they did.

Cotto finished way stronger than Clottey did. If it was 15 Cotto would have deserved the 5 point advantage. They also came to the conclusion more brain injury occurs in the final 3rds than in the the first 12 combined.

                Very true I prefer 15's.
Duk Koo Kim maybe would still be alive if the WBA hadn't made him the no.1 contender for little apparent reason. He was very overmatched and incredible how he lasted 14 rounds

The rabbit hole goes so much deeper than the death of Duk-Koo Kim. The politics of boxing allowed a bunch of little fighters who were not fit to go 15 rounds to suddenly emerge in the sport. The fact that it was changed from 15 to 12 has done nothing to prevent death. 15 rounds fights should still be part of a contract in the sport, it should be left for the best of the best. Deuk Koo Kim was not an elite fighter and had no business fighting for a title match in the first place.

Studies show that 12 rounds and bigger gloves do not make the fight safer.

Fighter safety was the public reason for the change from 15 to 12 rounds after Mancini-Kim.

Whether or not it was the real reason, or if it was for monetary reasons, who knows really?

Boxing was on network TV back then. 12 rounds was much easier to fit in a one-hour period than 15 rounds.
