So does Pacquiao. If they get overly aggressive he knocks them out quick like Hatton.

Also, there seems to be some conflicting opinions here because another Cotto fan says he shines against fast, slick fighters with good footwork such as Judah.

Margarito came forward and didn't clinch. He backed Cotto up. Clottey came forward and doesn't often clinch. He backed Cotto up.

and may the best man win.
Roach knows what his fighter can and cant do, he knows at 147 pacquiao cant beat Cotto. You think hes the best when he really hasnt been tested from 140-147 at all yet.

      Welterweight is a different story

cmon stop comparing Hatton to Cotto. Dont use them in the same sentence cause Cotto is a whole different animal and Roach acknowldges them.

Hes warning you right now in this article that Pacquiao isnt invincible and he can and most likely will be beat if Cotto isnt drained

I am NOT comparing Hatton to Cotto. Do you think I'm THAT ****ing ******?

I was merely giving an example of someone who came forward overly aggressive and paid dearly for it.

              Get off my case.

you are entirely right sami, but pacquiao, i've noticed, only overwhelms you when you dont fight smart, cotto doesn't really throw random punches, he's no hatton, he fights behind the jab and when he sees an opening ( and you can get MANY openings against pacquiao!!!) then he shoots either to the body, or to the head, he also does that flash jab that packs a lot of power. the only faults i see for cotto is that he's open for a upper, and that he can be hit with straight rights, or left dunt remember which one right now. but it's like roach said in that interview, he hits you back just as hard when he's hit, and he danced around margarito for a couple of good solid rounds.

i wish it was this fight happening because it would just be for all the marbles and none of this catchweight for the title bullcrap.

one way or another their will be excuses so whatever weight be happy.

yeah i agree you weren't ocmparing them, but cotto is really in another level that hatton. cotto would make hatton look like an idiot at 147. hatton is nothing but a one chin wonder anyways, he's thru. but cotto has already said before "the way to beating pacquiao is fighting behind the jab like manuel marquez did for a good portion of the fight against him" and that's just what he's going to do, once he sees an opening he's going for the kill, and pacquiao HAS been knocked down to the body by weaker, lesser opponents. and you can train to improve skills but he hasn't really faced a vicious body puncher like miguel in a long long time.

                      Welterweight is a different story
with or without the welters pac has proved himself and deserves the acclaim that he is recieving. pac has moved through 10 divisions and has fought through 4 divisions in a space of a year and a half, yet you wont give him respect untill he faces a welter that will weigh like a middleweight by fight time.
