Why does Pacman insist on catchweight?

He was willingly to fight Oscar at 147 yet he does not want that against Cotto.

For example PBF/Oscar. Floyd weighed in 150 while Oscar was 154. 4 pounds difference in weigh in means nothing. Why doesn’t Pacman weigh in at 143 as he wants and allows Cotto to weigh in at 147?

pac's last fight was 135 before oscar who's last fight was at 154. now pac had to go up 2 divisions, oscar went down one. fair or not? and pac didnt come in as a legit WW in that fight. he weighed only 142, well below the limit. hell he could easily have shed those 2 lbs to be a jww but he needed the bulk for that fight.

and he came in 138 AFTER breakfast for a 140 fight w/ hatton.

Then why is he going after welterweights? Why not stay at jr.welter and fight Bradley, Campbell etc,???

Otherwise move up and fight the welters at their natural weight unstead of forcing them to drain themselves.

alot of posters here underestimates cotto. it would'nt be competitive if its under 147 ?
