Lol at the people who claimed Diaconu could beat Dawson

Coming from a big Dawson fan..

DIACONU CAN BEAT DAWSON

What I'm saying, his style gives him a pretty good shot at beating Dawson due to the fact that Dawson's defense is very suspect and he lingers on the inside too long taking shots.

Dawson does not fight like Pascal

Dawson is not a super slick boxer who bobs and weaves. He throws combinations and turns his opponent, but stays within reach after doing so. Against, Diaconu, this would be very dangerous and his punches are very tight and powerful.

Now, I'm not saying that Dawson isn't fighting him because of this. It is VERY ****** to claim that a fighter like Dawson is ducking someone when Dawson wants to fight THE BEST LHW'S in Hopkins and Calzaghe who are clearly above Diaconu.

But I'm not gonna sit here and bash Diaconu just because he's considered a threat to one of my favorite fighters.

exposed? it was a great fight won by a great performance from pascal. you need to lose the exposed ****. the man was a champion, and lost to a better fighter. no shame, and he fought a tough fight. kimbo slice was exposed man, not diac!

I'm not a Chad Dawson fan, but I have read a lot of threads on boxing forums claiming that Chad was scared of this guy and ducking him. And the reason it holds no weight to it is because they had a fight scheduled at one time and Diacanou pulled out with a hand injury. So why should Chad have taken that chance again? I think Cloud is a live threat to Dawson though. But Chad has unfinished business with Glen Johnson. Regardless though, I don't see any way that Diacanou could've beaten Dawson. He has a hard punch but his boxing skills are ****.

Can you spell exposed? And I'm awaiting the decision but there's no way Pascal lost that fight. And does this make the fighting skills of Froch look underrated or what?

Just because a fighter loses doesnt mean he is exposed Im sick of that ******ed ****. He fought a good fight against a fighter who is very athletic with very good reflexes. Props to Diac for a hard fought performance.

last night i watched the froch pascal fight and thot pascal could improve on stamina and he definitely did tonight..he was moving all night and had his reflexes the whole fight...i love how hes willing to engage to hes got a steady chin

think it helped because he was at Light Heavy.

That's a good post. But just analyzing his style I don't see anything that Diaconu brings to the table that Adamek didn't. And Pascal is a skilled boxer but he is not as skilled as Chad and I don't think he has got the power to stop Dawson.

We saw a fighter fight his ass off tonight in a great fight and all you can do is degrade the man.

I laughed at that too, I have never really been impressed by Diaconu and was surprised when people said he'd beat Dawson. Good performance from Pascal though.

I agree with that but I give credit to Dawson for eliminating the bad taste from a lot of peoples' mouths from that fight.
