If you look at the video, that was just a very well timed jab...Had nothing to do with the level Clottey was on.

Plus, that was really all you saw of the jab, the first round.

Clotteys defense is way better than Pacman, Pacmans defense is his speed Not his ability to block punches or roll punches thats why i know if Cotto keeps his jab in Pacquiaos face constantly its gonna force him to slow down.

Cotto has above average footwork, Mannys last two oppnents stood infront of him. Cotto is gonna move affectively pop the jab throw some body combos and little by little pacman will be beat.

            Yes.

Cotto has a good jab but its not going to control Pacquiao because its not that type of jab.

It never fails, that this topic will appear.

He doesn't even know what's he's talking about. One thing that most of Cotto's fans have overlooked so far when it comes to Cotto's jab, which is great btw, is that Pacman is a Southpaw, which means they will be mirroring each other since both lead hands are on the same side. It will be more like fencing or escrima, were both jabs will nullify each other, or should I say, Cotto's jabs will be nullified more than Pacquiao, since Pacman throws his jabs faster, he will have more success.

The key to a Cotto win is his right hand, which he should use more often against Pacquiao if he wants to keep Pacman at bay. Marquez showed how to neutralize Pacman by taking the initiative and using his overhand right more often as his had Pacman stopped on his tracks at lot of times...

That's great, but you forgot two mention, so did the two out of three that Cotto Fought....

Margo-in his chest all night(stood in front of him).
Clottey-in his chest all night(stood in front of him).
Jennings-well he wasn't really looking to fight at all.

                  So what are you saying?

That's what they were saying about Hatton before the fight too, that Ricky will not just stand there and take the punches like Oscar did. Ricky has a great footwork and a great jab too, he will throw a lot of his patented body combos and look what happened?

Pacman can be beat, and I say that Cotto should be the favorite if the fight gets made, whether the fight is at 144, 145 or 147, but there's no such thing as a sure thing, specially if were talking about the Pacman...

Cotto's jab is a thing of beauty. I think Cotto stops him late.
