IMO to my own thread ...Cotto won the Mosley fight...I agree..Mosley gave that fight away and he is pissed for it. I do not give Cotto credit for it simply because anyone could of beat Mosley that night...IMO
Clottey I feel won that fight Clearly I believe he was given a gift on this one

How many times did Clottey cut off the ring effectively and corner Cotto?
Because he doesn't fight the way he usually fights doesn't mean he wasn't effective fighting the other way. Clottey chased his ass around and couldn't stop him.

If thats the case then I dont feel Pacquiao has accomplished anything this past year. I feel anybody half good would have beat DLH at that weight on that night. And Hatton had been rocked or KO'd in his last 4 fights(at least), even by Paulie. He was just a brutal KO waiting to happen IMO.

Homie it's all good, but Clottey was fighting his type of fight, and had all the momentum, hence he was the ring general. You can disagree if you wan't, but it would be smarter to claim that Cotto won by grit and flurrying at the end of rounds to steal them. Hell even HBO cheerleader Jim Lamply agrees.

I think Cotto dictated the Tempo. He moved and boxed when he wanted to, cornered Clottey when he wanted, stood and traded when he wanted. Plain and simple.

I feel that Cotto won a close-but solid decision over Mosley. The Clottey fight is a different story. Clottey worked Cotto over throughout most of the fight with clean punches. Still Clottey should have been more aggressive in the championship rounds if he really wanted the win. If I'm Josh Clottey I know that it's going to be damn near impossible to get a decision over Cotto in MSG and I go for broke trying to pummel him even it puts me at a risk.

I was trying to make the point that you can plug the "anyone could have beat him that night" excuse into alot of fights. I think its lame.
