Pac is leaving himself open for discredit...

if he fights Cotto at a Catch weight below welterweight. Because Cotto can always claim he had trouble making the weight if he is unsuccessful in the fight.

I can can just see it now "I was weight drained" and fair enough he might end up draining himself as well.

Look I really like Pac, but I think he should just straight out fight him at 147 like he did Oscar.

Full credit for a jr. flyweight to move up and even be in the position to ask a WW for 1-2lbs.

Maaaan, **** this ****. He came in at 146 on Saturday. All he needs to do is have a great big dump and he's good to go. If you are not confident in Cotto winning, be honest and say so. Otherwise stop making excuses.

The Oscar fight / 147 was a one-off deal, and this was made clear by Freddie Roach months ago.

144 is morally a catchweight, but is still DEFINITELY w/in welterweight.
Besides Miguel was offering 145, unprompted, months ago.

He was a flyweight when he was like 16 years old. That doesnt even count. Stop hanging your hat on it.

Or Cotto go down to 140...Catch weights suck...but it is suppose to level the playing field. Like you say...leaves room for an excuse as well
