thats what i was thinking, it'll be huge but wont beat what Tyson could do.

Don't you think that's a bit biased of you to only give credit to Manny?

Yes it could but will defend on how they promote the fight. PBF-DLH sold that much because of DLH's popularity combined with PBF's antics. The Fans anticipate a Great fight but was dissapointed.

For the Pac-PBF fight it will be the same formula again. Pac inherit DLH's popularity while PBF still undefeated. 80% of the Boxing fans has been waiting for so long for a Fighter who can Give PBF his 1st loss and Pac fits the role to do it. And Pac Guarantees excitement!! Every boxing fans who ordered the Pac-DLH/Hatton and PBF vs DLH/Hatton will tune in. I just don't see a reason why they ordered the PBF-DLH fight & will miss this PBF-Pac fight.

I voted yes but if it didn't it wouldn't be far off. There are so many factors to it though, Pac can't lose to Cotto, Mayweather must stay undefeated and (as already said above, I know) recession has to not be quite as bad as it is atm. But how many of you wouldn't buy that fight on PPV, even a casual fan would buy that IMO. It's the fight everybody wants to see (unless any of you differ from that opinion). I'm not too sure it will happen all the same though, Floyd will be demanding 60/40 or something ridiculous.

you are mistaking. with each win for May over the last couple fights, he gained fans from the other side of the isle.

do you know how many people would tune in just to see may win and even more to see him lose?

either way, hes bring those people in b/c they are watching b/c of him. to see him either win or lose.

b.c they tune in to see him lose doesnt mean they are a fan of his opponent.

                Manny aint doin ****

I really dont think that any PPV will ever break the De La Hoya-Mayweather fight.
