Would Floyd VS Manny Break Every PPV Record Ever?

I'm beginning to think so. What is the current record? Floyd VS Pacquiao could make for an interesting trilogy if it isn't one sided in either fighters favor. Imagine Pacquiao beats Floyd? Insanity I tell you. It would have to be a trilogy if Pacquiao could do it assuming Floyd can win the second.

nah. it'll probably do 1.5 to 2 million tho....

b/c of the times, i don't see it doing 2.4 or better. alot also depends on how mayweather looks in his next fight, if he ever fights again, and also depends on whether pacman beats cotto.

It will be the best non-HW title fight ever. But seriously, it's not breaking any of the HW records. Pac-PBF will never be anticipated by the public like, say, Tyson's return against Peter McNeely.

Perhaps the third in a trilogy could break the record. As long as each fight is an all out war and perhaps a bit of controversy in the mix would give it the edge to topple the current record holder.

Yeah because Mayweather it's a huge not. If it breaks record it's because of Manny.

It would be close, but i don't think it would due to the current recession.

It wouldn't come close. Floyd set the record vs a guy that arguably was the most popular boxing attraction ever. Yeah, Pacquaio is popular but in no means is he in the same light as DLH when it comes to popularity in America. DLH had been fight on t.v. since 1992, pac has just became popular in one year. This fight does between 1.2-1.5 million.
