ii agree larry. but floyd made the decisition so now it's on him to honor that fight against JMM. people dont really give jmm any chances and that's why floyd has the fame of fighting weaker opponents. FLOYD is the most naturally talented boxer in this whole era, he should be fighting the top comp at 147. it's a shame really that pac stepped up to cotto and floyd dodged him for so many years. floyd should have fought mosley or berto to at least get some rep at welter. he is not breaking top 45 ATG if he keeps this up. floyd, imo, should be top 15 ATG with his amazing talents.Comment

Yeah because Floyd was the draw for Wrestle mani 24, GTFO!!!!!!The Price difference for each fight should be considered. I paid 2k for De La Hoya vs Mayweather, 1k for Hatton vs Mayweather, The Baldomir fight was also was a high ticket price.
His total gate numbers should be checked vs Attendence. Does anybody have any knowledge of what each fighters live gate revenue is?
Floyd had an event where he sold over 74,000 tickets and over $5.8million in live gate revenue. Wrestlemania 24.
LMAOP jajajaja Dman fools!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still think Mayweather/Marquez still had a chance to sell out with 24/7 because Floyd will do a great job hyping it up but there were some major problems with this fight and sales. 1. Tickets were MASSIVELY over priced. I think that was the biggest problem here. 2. this fight should have been on regular HBO. People were 100% sure of the outcome in their minds and nobody wants to see Floyd in that kind of fight, even though everyone knew it was just to shake the rust off. That is the problem though. People didn't want to see Floyd shake the rust off at those prices and a $54.95 PPV? C'mon! I still think the PPV would have done well after 24/7 but I think everyone was too greedy here. If Floyd was going to really make $15 mil on this one they needed to makeup the dollars on ticket prices and PPV $ and it just wasn't going to happen. Floyd should've made this fight on HBO for $5mil or whatever it takes and create the demand for fans to want to see him against Pac even more. Now he might be left out if Pac losses. He will be forced to fight Cotto or Mosley to make any real money and it would still be less than a Pac fight.3. The third problem I saw here was the timing. Not nearly the amount of time needed to create the mega event that they were all hyping.Comment
