You're kidding right? I agree with you on DLH selling out on his own . But, if you look at PPV numbers as well, all of the fighters including Hatton sold more with Floyd on the ticket than they've ever sold. Whether you like or hate him that can't be argued.

and lets keep it in perspective as to why.

First, the guy across from him had a huge fanbase of his own. Couple that with a 2 hour series dedicated to promoting the fight, combined with all of Floyds yip yap about massacres and KOs thrown in with his "persona" of a bad boy, and you have people who are interested that wouldn't have been before.

They tune in expecting to see hands fly for every minute of every round, and instead,

get a nice healthy order of "wtf is this? he said was gonna go out there and cause some major damage".

Theres a reason that Floyds numbers when he is the main ticket,

are nowhere near what the pot was when 2 true superstars of the sport are involved.

Dude went from 2.4 million, to under one million, to having to cancel a fight due to lack of interest aka, rib injury.

Its not like DLH never sold over a million before, or never put on a PPV with a virtually unknown fighter.

Get the number of the Chop-Chop v. Mayweather fight. LOL The place wasn't even half full.

Mayweather by himself is not a huge draw. He's not, and will never be, a DLH, a Cotto, etc. It matters who he fights, and the guy he's fighting is usually the reason the numbers are big.

When a fighter who pulls those numbers without a big star behind him, but then says Cotto and Mosley aren't draws is what makes people say "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm???"

Hatton was undefeated against Floyd. Pac-hatton sells almost the same Numbers against the resession & also Hatton has a loss already.

The Price difference for each fight should be considered. I paid 2k for De La Hoya vs Mayweather, 1k for Hatton vs Mayweather, The Baldomir fight was also was a high ticket price.

His total gate numbers should be checked vs Attendence. Does anybody have any knowledge of what each fighters live gate revenue is?

Floyd had an event where he sold over 74,000 tickets and over $5.8million in live gate revenue. Wrestlemania 24.
