No, the Finnish Boxing Commission said there might be a very slim chance of a Chagaev opponent contacting it, and to be on the safe side, just recommended Valuev have a vaccination before the fight to be 100% certain. Valuev refused.

Wlad has been vaccinated for Hep B. Virtually every boxer in Germany is vaccinated against it nowadays, since Henry Akinwande and others had in in the 90s. I'm surprised Valuev hasn't been.

I was vaccinated several years ago for Hep B - I thought most people were nowadays. The vaccine is free at many clinics here in Vancouver.
There are two sides to this story.

    Translation:

    Sauerland: Chagaev has B-hepatitis

Universum: Chagaev is the carrier of B-hepatitis antigen

Sauerland: Sauerland, Universum ja The Finnish Boxing Commission agreed last Thursday, that the fight will be held, if Chagaev's blood results are the same as they were in Germany.

Universum: Universum was never given a written request about a blood test, but wanted the blood test to happen on their own after hearing rumours about su****ion.

Sauerland: Chagaev's blood results in Helsinki differed from previous ones.

Universum: The blood results have been the same for years despite the Finnish doctor's interpretation being different

Sauerland: The danger of infection is very small, but it does exist.

Universum: Valujev could have protected himself with a vaccine.

Exactly. If one fight gets cancelled because of it and he hasnt been miraculously cured then its fairly obvious that any further fights, especially one as high profile as this one, is gonna be a non starter.

If I was in Wlads shoes I wouldnt want to do it, but why if they knew about this beforehand did they even consider Chagaev as an opponent?

Stop posting this lowsense message over and over.

                  1) Who cares what some American doctors have to say about the fight? This fight happens in Germany. Who cares what German doctors would have said about Cotto vs Mosley.
                  2) This report is based on what some doctors read in the newspapers. They have not amalyzed Chagaev's blood. It's pure uninformed speculation on their part.
                  3) Wikipedia: "More than 2 billion people, have been infected with the hepatitis B virus." Yes, that's maybe you, too.
                  4) There is no new info between 2 weeks ago and now. No need to altert anyone unless Chagaev breaks his back during shadow boxing and decides to fight Haye in September.
                  5) Wlad is vaccinated

They reccomend it. They have no say really what the german commision is going to do and Wlad is already vacicated. The fight will happen.

Your signature is ridiculous. I guess it goes to show that anyone's, even Ali's resume can be made out to be overrated.

Of course most objective boxing fans agree that his resume is among the greatest of all time.
