I ahve said it many times, Bernard Hopkins ruins fighters, and their careers.

Tito was good, but who ruined Tito? Undefeated P4P fighter, to premature retirement.

Good ****, and it's the truth in most cases.

Taylor, Tarver, Pavlik, Echols, Eastman, Lipsey, and Mercado.

All of them were never the same after Hopkins.

Taylor went on to get steamrolled by a lesser fighter in Pavlik, and then KO'd yet again by Froch. Since fighting Hopkins, Taylor's stock has went down in flames like the Hindenburg.

Tarver was ontop of the world with the Jones victories, Hopkins takes him to school and afterwards he can barely muster a solid performance against the likes of Elvir Muriqi.

Lipsey just flat out retired after Hopkins viciously knocked him out. (That KO was sick, you could see Lipsey was out on his feet before Hopkins even landed the final right hand that decked him.)

Eastman and Mercado both (Holmes even) were pretty damn good fighters prior to Hopkins. And never looked anywhere near it after him.

Echols got beatdown like a straight prison ***** in that rematch. Christ that fight was entertaining.

Pavlik hasn't looked the same mentally since Hopkins, looked like **** against Rubio even.

I wouldn't say Hopkins ruined Calzaghe though.

Everybody knows Joe valued his "0" more than anything in the world. And after that close fight with Hopkins, and then the dismantling of Jones, he decided not to risk it any farther and got out while the gettin' was good.

I'm hopeful that he'll add one more to the body count for his birthday next year, and then retire.

Can you imagine being his opponet that night?

With him knowing it's close to his 45th birthday, and this will be the last time he's ever going to shine in that ring?

            I'm expecting another execution.

Hopkins just waits until he knows they are done, then he fights them and claims he ruined their careers.
