The judge who had for Clottey had Clottey winning the last round.
The judge who had it 116-111 had rounds 9-10 for Cotto and changed scores of a round he originally gave to Clottey.
    Both cards sound really su****ious.
The only one that makes a little sense is the 115-112.

its ridiculous and the cotto fans know it. but they gotta argue to protect him. he could have got outpunched a thousand to two hundred and they would still say he won if it came to the scorecards.

when cotto thought he was clocking clottey and clottey came out shaking his head, it was one of those moments that makes me love boxing. that **** right there was cutthroat, i jumped off the couch and stood the rest of the round

Wow, Miller gave Clottey the 12th! Unreal!

I thought Clottey got the better of him overall, but I scored it for Cotto. I don't think Clottey realized what Cotto was doing. Take the 11th round and score it closely. Cotto scored 10-11 points before Clottey did anything and then Cotto just made sure to keep the points even the rest of the way. I remember thinking in the nineth Clottey got this and then watched the 11th and 12th in disbelief as Clottey just gave it away. Almost like he didn't know how rounds are scored or even that a boxing match is scored by rounds. Even though he was losing the rounds maybe Cotto started hurting him in the 9th and 10th more than it showed, which made Clottey reluctant to come in and get countered. It's one of those somewhat baffling moments, because if Clottey sustained what he did in 7, 8 and 9 he had the fight.

anyone who thinks these are the actual scorecards filled out by the judges doesnt know anything about this process. This form is the master scorecard that the commissioner at the commission table fills out (nobody noticed that all three cards have the EXACT same handwriting? lol). After every round, the referee walks around to the 3 judges and gets their slip for that round, and those slips are given to the commissioner at the table, where the scores are then transferred to the form posted in this thread.

The judges NEVER have access to the slips they turned in for previous rounds.

and probably what happened with the score changes in round 4 was the commissioner initially mixed up the white and blue slips (1 scored it for Cotto, 1 scored it for Clottey), and then corrected it after double checking. I say this because after that point, none of the running totals in the right hand columns have any revisions, so the error must have been corrected before the 5th round running totals were written in.....

(sorry to ruin the conspiracy theories.....)

FYI, these forms are public record and if the commission people made enough copies they will usually give you one if you ask. Most times the pr people have them at the post fight presser as well.....

Maybe he counted the hit behind the head as a point deduction? As a boxing fan when decisive rounds are scored incorrectly it really makes you wonder. And 9 for Cotto? come on. I do think Cotto hurt him a little in that round but Clottey won that round by a wide margin.

Clottey is one of those fighters that really has all the tools, but it's almost like he's not mean enough or something.

                  I agree.

For some reason he just can't maintain the activity level to beat the elite fighters. From a technical perspective he was clearly superior to Miguel the other night, he just quite simply didn't throw enough leather to get it done. It could potentially have had something to do with how effective Cotto was on the counter, but it is still a bit odd as to why Clottey wouldn't lift his activity level there in the crucial stages.
