Biggest fight in boxing right now. All props to Pac for having the balls to take this fight unlike ***** 3000 who hid and ducked Cotto.

Either Cotto is going to have to cut too much weight, or Pac is going to be fighting at a weight where Cotto will be too big and strong for him.

This matchup is a result of Arum's greed. Cotto should be rematching Shane, while Pac takes on Floyd. Winners of those 2 bouts should face eachother.
But if Manny beat Mayweather it would be the same situation again for whoever he fought be it Mosley or Cotto.

So what would be the diffrence if Cotto fights Pac now and then Shane after?

To think that Cotto would pass up an opportunity like this is kinda silly....

You have to capatilize on the chances your given in this brutal sport....If Cotto beats Pac(which is not a gimmie) He will hold all the bargaining chips and have boxers that he would other wise have to chase...coming directly to him and meeting his demands to fight.

Cotto stands to make a lot of money out of this fight....I know I'm not getting any of it so it shouldn't matter to me and it doesn't but...To not take into account the financial implications is silly...since the people that are actually getting punched in the face...care a lot about how much they get paid.

Cotto vs Pac is the obvious best move for Cotto...Financialy and Legacy wise...He may not get much credit for beating a little guy...But this fight will enable him to make bigger fights in the future with names that would elude him if he had not beat the p4p champ...and things happen on his terms money wise.

          Smart move for Cotto.

This fight SHOULD take place at 147. Either way, Cotto, who I am definetly a fan of, didn't look right against Clottey, a fight he deserved to lose. Pacquiao stops him in seven or less.

Tbh, Stweard in my opinion is the worst choice for Cotto. he should have hired Nach, or even Naazim Richardson.

I hope it takes place at 147 because thats the Welterweight limit. BUT I have to disagree, If shane Margarito and Clottey cant KO Cotto then Pacquiao doesnt have the power to KO Cotto as well.

No stoppages I think Pacquiao is gonna get caught with some good counters and go down because he cant atke the power
