Nobody can take away the skills he has as a fighter, you can't take away the fact that he has great defense, ring generalship, good speed, footwork, chin, decent power (underrated but I agree his power isn't amazing).

Nobody can take away his resume and what he achieved at 130-135... nobody could ask him to do more than that... at 140 he wanted more but he was kinda dodged in that division so he moved up to Welterweight to fight Judah and Baldomir who even if he wasn't the most skilled champion he was still lineal champion and ranked #1. Nobody could blame him for taking money fights with De La Hoya or Hatton.

Anyway, yeah I did wish he took on Cotto when he was retired... not so much Mosley, but since the Margarito win it has kinda become a much wanted fight. It is understandable that his resume at Welterweight isn't the best and adding Pacquiao and Mosley and/or Cotto to his resume there would be fantastic and would top it off... nobody could ask for more if he was to pull it off.

So, yeah it would be nice to see him fight Cotto, Pacquiao, Mosley... I think a Pacquiao fight will happen soon though in the future, and I just hope a Cotto and Mosley fight happens too. If those fights don't happen, I will still be a fan of Floyd and appreciate his skills... but I also will be disappointed that the fight never happened when he came back.

Anyway, the guy is back now... I think people should give him a bit of a chance first and see what happens, he might fight them he is back for a reason and apparently from what I am hearing he is coming back to add names to his resume, so all I am saying is we should just wait and see... the guy has been back five minutes and being accused of ducking which is kinda ******, I think people should just wait it out and just wait and see what happens... give him a chance.

I totally agree. He hasn't had one fight since returning and he is "ducking" everyone in the world. Its gets old and tired. Give the guy a chance...HE JUST GOT BACK. I feel you SP

Arum don't believe that. He hates Floyd and vice versa. So ANY chance they get to smear each others name...they will do it. Its just funny because he makes it seem as though ALL he has fought as smaller guys...but the TRUTH is, he has been the smaller guy in ALOT of his fights.

At the end of the day, it doesn't bother me what they think of Floyd... its there life, it just gets kinda annoying when people talk bull**** about any fighter, when in my opinion all fighters at there level should be hugely respected (except Margarito, sorry I just lost respect for him since the wrap thing).

All I am saying is he has just came back... people shouldn't jump to conclusions, he could genuinely be back to fight Pacquiao, Cotto/Mosley, etc. I mean there is just as big a chance he isn't, but the guy has just returned... give the guy a chance and a break.

Yup, Arum would be negative just for the sake of being negative... its common knowledge that Arum and Floyd don't get on so it is hard to respect the opinion of either one about each other. If Arum talks **** about Floyd its most likely through hate, if Floyd talks **** about Arum it is most likely through hate.

If you want to be real, there is no way you will see floyd fight the likes of cheato, mosley, clottey, like cotto did. Im not saying cotto is better than floyd, he is just braver and doesnt cherry pick like floyd does. Cottos cv at WW is FAR better than floyds. Mosley also has a much better cv than floyds, thats just the way it is. Floyd is terrified of losing his 0. Hes still a great fighter but is what you might call risk averse.

I will understand if he doesn't fight them being disappointed... nobody knows why he returned... but that is one of the reasons he says he returned, people should hear him out and give him a chance to see if he does fight them... there is nothing wrong with waiting it out to see.

Also with the JMM fight, I agree that he could of possibly fought a Welterweight... but whoever expects him to fight Cotto, Mosley, Pacquiao after 18 months off is crazy... if its a warm up fight (might be might not even if Floyd don't admit it) then just give the benefit of the doubt.

I think taking a fighter like JMM straight after an 18 month layoff whether its considered a warm up fight or not doesn't scream being a *****, even though it is at a weight JMM has never fought at he is still a very skilled and live opponent with a lot of experience and shouldn't be overlooked by anyone.

All I know is that first we were complaining about the Fraud JMM fight
now its off and we are still complaining? WTF fellas?

We all know Floyd is Fraud. That is a fact. So lets live with it and move on. We have haters like us and ballwashers like Larrysmith.
