I agree..they ripped the guy for leaving because of the level of opposition that he didn't fight. Now he is coming back to fight those guys that they said that he has ducked and he starts with JMM and they are screaming that he should stay retired...which on is it?

I don't think that Floyd deserves to come back and get that fight when guys like Mosley and Cotto have been doing his dirty work for the last past two years or os. Especially when he retired and pulled out on Oscar due to negotiations and the split for that fight. It is clearly his fault that state of boxing is the way it is. he let Manny in. I am a fan of boxing who spend money and buys PPV's I am a fan of boxing who purchases tickets to see live fights. I live, sleep, eat and **** boxing. There are many more like me who feel the same way. When Floyd held all the cards he put them down to go do some WWE and dance and make public appearances and run a record label now he is in debt and needs moeny and these guys who have been cleaning up should drop everything they are about and hand him a piece of the pie? Let him set a plate at the table because he is rady now to mix it up. What about when they were looking for a plate to be set and he took two loafs of bread and ran into retirement with themm under his arms? You don;t see the big picture my friend the best thing any boxer can do for one antoehr is too fight them. That is how boxers feed themselves and their loved ones. If they cannot get fights then they can;t earn. if we can;t get good match ups and card then the sport dies. He thought he made enough and left these guys out in the cold. oscar held it down for one more year past his prime. He handed the torch to Manny now manny is holding it down. Floyd don;t deserve ish in my eyes. Let him fight a tune up or 2 and then we see where we are at.....Lefty

He took on Corley, Bruseles and then Gatti at 140 lbs for titles. he moved to 147 to fight Shamba Mitchell, Judah and Baldomir for the title. The cash cow came calling and he answered the bell and fought Oscar at 154lbs won a title there. Went back down to 147 to meet Hatton for another big pay day. All along people were calling for him to face legitimate 147lbs like Cotto, Margarito, Clottey, Williams and Mosley. I understood business is business and if made sense to bring in those dollars.

Now whether it be due to negotiations his hands the WWE giving him millions to sign a contract with them he retired. Personally I think it had to do with the amount of money he made and the fact his hands were hurting him. he took a breather announced his retirement from the sport. I hold no grudges for that every man is entitled to call it quits when he feels he has no desire to continue. in our sport when you lose the desire to fight you often get hurt inside the ring.

Fast forward to 2008 Floyd is in trouble with the IRS. His real estate investments have gone sour. he is robbed for over 7 mil in ***els. it seems the so called king might be prime for a comeback. Is it $$$ motivated fans and critics ask come fellas with Money Mayweather it is always about the money. So it is rumored he is in the gym training again and might be coming out of retirement to take on the TOP P4P fighters and earn himself a few nice paydays. Allow him to settle up with Uncle Sam and make a few margin calls bail out some real estate debts and so forth.

Boom Cotto defeats Clottey it seems tickets sales are down for Floyd and apparently there is an injury to Floyd ribs. What now possibly no fight on July 18th. I see some interviews past and present I watch a few old tapes of fights and honestly I am completely turned off by this hoodwink of a crook. Why you critisizing Floyd for handing the torch on to Manny? One minute you say you breath boxing the next you critisize Floyd for ****ing boxing up. Theres nothing wrong with the sport at the moment. What you blaming Floyd for?

He was singin that tune about Pacquiao before he came outta retirement. To Brian Kenny he said a Pacquiao fight was possible down the line. Floyd aint THAT crazy. A Mosley fight does little for Floyd right now.
