He didn't personally check Cotto, he's just giving his opinion. For every opinion you get for him not to fight, you'll get one to say he can fight. You even have an example of that in the same article, the cut will have no bearing on this fight happening.

wow thats crazy....but you know what, we've all seen some pretty beat up faces in boxing, and its been awhile since ive seen a cut cross from the top of the brow passed the bottom....so if he needs more healing time ...*** it !! the last thing we wanna do is permanently injure the guy for the sake of fighting another fight....eventually the cotto-pac-man thing will happen regardless !!!
