If Cotto beat Pacquiao and Mayweather, he wouldn't need a 3rd title in another weight class to be elevated.

That is true but there would nothing left at 147 for him to go after. So the logical thing would be to go up to 154 and challange for a tittle.

I think Berto and Shane would be left for him. And as the poster above had said, Forrest just might retire at that time. 154 is getting deep, so a fight with Williams would be nice, but very dangerous.

If he were to beat Pac/MW/Margs(2/3Perhaps) and then the #1 guy at 154. That's HOF/ATG type of **** right there.

I thought he was stripped and Martinez was bumped up to full championship status?
